Business Cards

For my BFA showcase I wanted to have something for everyone to take home with them. I decided to do my favorite thing and bring designs to life on function ceramics. I took inspiration from the iconic test tile that all ceramicists are more than familiar with.

Test tiles are known for being small, simple clay shapes used to experiment with and evaluate glazes, slips, and surface techniques before applying them to larger ceramic pieces without wasting precious clay or kiln space. I took inspiration for my many test tiles and made business cards with my new logo stamped into one side and a qr code for this website.

My personal branding logo is a revised version of my makers mark that can be found on all my ceramic works. This new variation was made more angular and dynamic to fit my branding, as seen on the header and as the favicon to this website. It takes inspiration from a figure running and combines my initials, A and S
